Blue Zone – Restoration Pavilion

How do you inspire and mobilise millions of people, particularly in rural areas, to restore land on a large scale? Justdiggit uses creative and practical solutions to regreen landscapes and mitigate climate change. Building on the success of their regreening projects across the African continent, Justdiggit is expanding their impact by involving more farmers through the launch of a new app. Kijani (meaning ‘green’ in Swahili) is a free educational regreening app designed to give farmers the knowledge and tools they need to restore their land. The app includes free courses and can even offer tailored regreening advice based on a farmer’s location and specific circumstances. With Kijani, Justdiggit continues to support the efforts of millions of farmers working to regreen African landscapes.
