Support Humanity Cameroon (SUHUCAM) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to grassroots environmental initiatives that improve the lives of rural and semi-urban communities. By means of these initiatives, SUHUCAM aim to bolster climate change adaptation, restore ecosystems, alleviate poverty, and improve access to clean water and sanitation. In the area of land restoration, SUHUCAM have innovated by employing the use of ArcGIS, GPS, satellite imagery and geospatial analysis to help manage a solar powered tree nursery. They’ve demonstrated the potential of technology to enhance smallholder farmers ability to make a living while working in sustainable agriculture.
