Blue Zone – Restoration Pavilion

Indigenous communities around the world have developed and maintained intricate knowledge systems and practices that have effectively managed and conserved land for centuries. The "Indigenous Knowledge in Land Conservation and Restoration" event is planned to be twofold. Firstly the event will begin with a roundtable discussion which aims to provide a platform for indigenous leaders to share their traditional knowledge and best practices in land management. Overall this event seeks to recognize the value of such indigenous and local knowledge and recognize their importance in environmental stewardship, while exploring ways to integrate these practices into broader conservation and restoration efforts. By learning directly from indigenous voices, participants will gain insights into sustainable land management strategies that are rooted in deep cultural and ecological understanding.
