This side event will introduce the G20 Global Land Initiative's (G20 GLI) "Trigger Change!" courses, aimed at educating and empowering future leaders in land restoration. Focused on sustainable agriculture, urban, forestry, post-mining, and business sectors, the courses support G20 GLI's 2040 goal of reducing land degradation. The session will then transition into an interactive discussion on good practices from the G20 GLI courses, common land restoration narratives, and future scenarios. It will nicely conclude with a film screening showcasing inspiring restoration efforts in Thailand.
