Rokiatou Traoré is a green entrepreneur committed to achieving sustainable development goals with a focus on Mali and the CEO and co-funder of Herou Alliance. This startup aims to develop an inclusive Moringa value chain integrating women and youth in the process. By 2030, she plans to create a network of Moringa producers of more than 5,000 women, plant 1 million Moringa trees, create more than 15,000 jobs and export Moringa-based products to the national, regional and international markets. Today, she has nearly a hundred trained women Moringa producers, more than 20,000 Moringa plants in the Koulikoro region and exports 100% organic Moringa teas, powder, oils, soaps, spices and baby food to more than 7 countries. According to her, “Nothing is impossible to achieve with an unwavering will.”
