Meet Our Speakers

Nicole Lantz (M.Sc., B.Sc., B.Ed.) helps passionate people and organizations who are working to solve important problems through education, outreach, and development. She started her business Sprout Educational Consulting in 2003 on the notion that an entire forest starts with a single seed. In this work, she has completed over 330 projects for intergovernmental organizations, governments, academic institutions and non-profits. She is currently working on retainer as a Technical Specialist – Environmental for UNDP.

Nicole recently led a citizen science initiative validating AI-enabled data for Global Biodiversity Framework targets. She also participated as a volunteer and citizen scientist for UNCCD on the G20 Global Land Initiative.
