Meet Our Speakers

Lauro Rossi is Program Director at CIMA Research Foundation with more than 20 years of experience in Disaster Risk Reduction and special focus on weather-related risk assessment and EWS. He is responsible for the product delivery of European and Global Drought Observatory for the JRC. He was the lead author of the European Drought Risk Atlas and has coordinated the development of the World Drought Atlas which was launched at the opening of this conference COP16, during ministerial session on droughts.
