Bochola Sara Arero is a dedicated climate advocate and community leader committed to uplifting pastoralist communities and addressing climate impacts. She co-founded the Qayya Initiative and Africa Youth Pastoralist Initiative, both empowering marginalized communities through climate resilience and sustainable resource management. With a background in Global Challenges and extensive experience working with conservation and community organizations, including the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority and Save the Children, Bochola brings a unique blend of research, grassroots engagement, and storytelling to her work.
