Based in Riyadh, Annamarie is a skills technical specialist with over 10 years regional experience of working with employers, education, training and government to align human capital development strategies with the needs of the changing labour market. Her experience includes the research and design of skills and training policy to the practical implementation of skills in higher education, training providers and work-based learning. Her experience has allowed her to develop a deep insight into how to support emerging credential systems for skills. This includes the design of quality frameworks, qualifications and credentials, RPL, occupational profiles and skills frameworks, national apprenticeship policies and degree apprenticeships systems based on labour market intelligence and employer led skills needs assessments. Annamarie holds a Master of Science Degree from Gothenburg University in Sweden and is recognised as a Senior Fellow of the prestigious UK Higher Education Academy.
