Private sector participation has long been seen as key for successful large-scale restoration, whether from a financing perspective or as a way to increase economic benefits related to land restoration. The proposed event will explore the ‘black box’ of private sector participation. The proposed event will look at the different roles the private sector can play in restoration, and what are key partnership mechanisms to fulfil these roles and unlock its full potential.
