This event is a call-to-action to Parties and non-Party stakeholders attending the 16th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). It urges investments in resilience and the integration of child-sensitive policies into strategies addressing Desertification, Land Degradation, and Drought (DLDD). It provides insights on recent findings on the impacts of DLDD on children’s lives and wellbeing and proposes policy solutions and recommendations to Parties and other stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Convention.
