George Saade

Civil Environmental and WASH Engineer, UN-Habitat Lebanon

George Saade is the WaSH and Environmental Engineer at UN-Habitat Lebanon, with more than six years of experience in the WaSH sector. He is currently engaged in WaSH and renewable energy initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable communities through the integration of climate change adaptation strategies and sustainable solutions in key areas such as water management, sanitation, renewable energy, and infrastructure development. These efforts help communities overcome ongoing challenges related to water scarcity, poor sanitation, and energy access. George holds a master’s degree in civil/structural engineering and has over nine years of professional experience. His expertise in the WaSH field has been shaped through extensive training, hands-on project involvement, and tackling complex, large-scale challenges in both humanitarian and development contexts. His skills encompass strategic planning in designing comprehensive frameworks, technical analysis in assessing the viability of potential solutions, and project management ensuring efficient and sustainable implementation.
