Darren Hey
Project Coordinator, Permaculture Research Institute
Darren is a writer, international speaker and consultant on natural health, nutrition, permaculture and natural law. He studied natural law and the philosophies and practices of natural healing under Dr John Fielder of the Academy of Natural Living, after a motorcycle accident left him learning how to walk again.
As principles of regeneration for body and land are the same, and one needs high quality food to achieve the former, Darren became a Permaculture teacher and designer, after 8 years training with the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia.
He presently holds a position within Permaculture Sustainable Consulting P/L assisting others to achieve their dream of off grid or sustainable and regenerative living, as well as a project coordinator stationed in Jordan on behalf of PRI, overseeing the UN Habitat Jerash University Permaculture Demonstration development site.
