Dinesh Suna

Dinesh Suna is the Programme Executive of the Ecumenical Water Network (EWN) and Land, Water and Food Advocacy at World Council of Churches (WCC) in Geneva, Switzerland since 2012. WCC is a global fellowship of over 350 Protestant and Orthodox national churches in 120 countries representing over half a billion Christians.
Started in 2006, the Ecumenical Water Network (EWN) works on increasing access to safe drinking water and a dignified sanitation worldwide.
He is also the focal point for the WCC’s working group on Land, water and food justice.
He has worked with several ecumenical organizations in his home country in India since the 1990s. Currently he is one of the Co-leads of the PaRD (Partnership of Religions and Sustainable Development) workstream on “Environment, Water and Climate Action” and a founding member of the People’s Water Forum.
