Abdul Rahim Loulou
Technical Advisor to the Director General, ASCAD
Abdul Rahim Loulou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Damascus in Syria, and holds a specialization degree in Soil Sciences from the University of California in the United States of America. He worked as a land studies expert at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – FAO – and held the position of Director of Arab and international relations in the General organization for Remote Sensing in Syria. He has been working at the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands ACSAD since 1994 as a desertification studies expert, and currently holds the position of technical advisor to the Director General.
