Naser Edin Al Obeid
Director General, ACSAD
Dr. Naser Edin Obeid has been the Director General of ACSAD since 2020. With a PhD in agricultural and environmental economics, he previously held leadership roles at ACSAD, including Assistant Director General (2014-2020) and Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs (1996-2020).
Dr. Obeid contributed to key ACSAD strategies and the Arab Agricultural Development Strategy (2009-2025). He has numerous publications on environmental economics and desertification, is active in scientific committees, and serves as Chief Editor of the Arab Journal of Arid Environments.
