Meet Our Speakers

Sara Meush is a landscape architect with 10 years of experience in the Middle East and southeast Asia, she has been studying, working on and designing Miyawaki Forests for 4 years in the Middle East with experts in the field. Most of her Miyawaki work that has been implemented is a small-area forests with municipalities, schools and private owners, but in the past 2 years she’s been designing broad-scale public realm projects which align with Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision of turning its capital Riyadh into a green city and introducing these native urban forests as a nature-based solution to achieve the vision.
