Amanda Abrom
Director, Global Schools Program, Sustainable Development Solutions Network
Amanda Abrom is the Director of the Global Schools Program, an initiative of the SDSN which supports a network of 1,800 schools in 100 countries. Her experience in education spans the classroom to policy level, overseeing large-scale systemic initiatives working with schools and Ministries of Education. She worked as a teacher in the US, Chile, and Spain. Her work in higher education included three years in residence life and as a Program Assistant for US Department of State-funded student exchange programs. Amanda holds a MIA from Columbia SIPA and an MPA from the London School of Economics, and completed graduate level work at the Education Cannot Wait Fund, UNICEF, and the UN Joint SDG Fund. She is a Fulbright Scholar, a WISE Emerging Leader, Aspen Future Leader, a NAAEE Environmental Education 30 Under 30, and a UNCTAD Youth Delegate.
