Beatriz Olmo Gilabert
Technical Director, Mining and Quarry Restoration Network (RMC)
Beatriz Olmo Gilabert is is currently Technical Director at the Mining and Quarry Restoration Network (RMC). She has a degree in Forestry Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, did her tesis at the University of Guadalajara (México) and completed the European Master in Natural Resources Management (MSc MEDFOR) at the University of Padova and the Catholic University of Portugal.
She has more than 15 years of experience in ecosystems restoration and social and environmental impact analysis. She has gained knowledge and experience from her work in public and private entities in Spain, Mexico and Portugal.
In recent years she has been involved in research projects under European programmes and she has gained experience as a project manager with the TreeWatt team, focused on the sustainability of renewable energy projects, VAERSA by coordinating the LIFE project TECMINE and Llíria Municipality by managing Next Generation funds.
