In the spirit of fostering eco-preneurial talent and driving innovation, we are thrilled to announce the G20 Global Land Initiative’s participation at the 2024 START Summit and Hack held this week on 20-22 March 2024 in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Organized by START Global, two events will take place simultaneously: the Start Hack and the Start Summit.

The START Summit is a flagship conference run by students and it serves as a bridge between emerging entrepreneurs and established industry leaders.

This year, it promises an array of opportunities for attendees, which are expected to be students seeking employment, entrepreneurs looking to establish a new company or  investors seeking new ventures. With its diverse range of sessions and networking events, the Summit explores the forefront of innovation.

START Hack, Europe’s leading hackathon for aspiring entrepreneurs, is an exciting opportunity for young talent to showcase their creativity and technical prowess.

Over three action-packed days, participants will collaborate, code and compete to tackle real-world challenges, making significant strides in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We are delighted to announce our active participation in both the Summit and the Hack, offering invaluable insights and opportunities for aspiring eco- and entre-preneurs:

  • Sustainability Lounge: Step into the G20 GLI Sustainability Booth at the START Summit, where passion meets purpose in the realm of sustainability and ecopreneurship. Visitors at the Sustainability Lounge will engage in meaningful conversations with investors and young leaders in the field of land restoration, network with like-minded individuals and explore innovative solutions to global challenges. In this inviting space, the three finalists of the Land Category at the Youth Ecopreneurs Award 2023 will showcase their products and success stories.
  • Workshop: As part of the Summit, the G20 GLI will host a Workshop exploring funding, challenges and opportunities for green startups. Intended for students, startups, founders and investors, this workshop aims to empower participants to navigate the journey from the conception of a startup to its successful operation.
  • Hackathon: During the Hack, we will present a case concerning Wildfire Land Degradation in Brazil, encouraging participants to brainstorm innovative solutions to this pressing environmental issue.

We invite you to join us at the START Summit and Hack, where, we will explore new frontiers of entrepreneurship and innovation in land restoration. Whether you are a budding entrepreneur, seasoned investor or passionate advocate for sustainability, there is a place for you in this vibrant community.

Let’s embark on this journey of discovery and transformation together at St. Gallen!
