Restoration Pavilion, the Space for Innovators, Change-Makers and Forward-Thinkers

The G20 Global Land Initiative (GLI), an Initiative of the G20 countries, which is hosted by the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), is inviting all innovators, change-makers and forward-thinkers to present their groundbreaking work on land restoration at the G20 GLI Restoration Pavilion at the global conference of the UNCCD Parties taking place on 2-13 December 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Restoration Pavilion, with a floor space of about 200sqm, will have a dedicated seating area and presentation stage with a 50 seat-capacity.

The UNCCD is the world’s only international treaty dedicated to land health. Its Conference of the Parties that meets once every two years isn’t just a conference or an event—it’s a chance to be part of something bigger. The world’s movers and shakers in land use policy meet, and exchange and agree on the ideas and actions to take to keep our farms producing, our rivers flowing and our biodiversity thriving in the face of growing environmental threats.

Innovators and other bright minds in this sector get a global stage, to make their voice heard and help shape a sustainable future. No ecosystem or community is left behind. If you’re looking to form new partnerships, gain mentorship or just connect with others who share your passion, this is the place to be.

Mmakwena Moesi, participant at the Ye! Youth Ecopreneur Award 2023, celebrates her triumph at the GreenTech Festival in Berlin. Her innovative project, Viva Organica, claimed victory at the Start-Up Jam, earning a prize of USD 200,000 worth of consulting services from Boston Consulting Group X, with vital support from G20GLI.
